GIMP is the short form for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a photo editing or manipulation program. It is the closest open source software to the renowned Adobe Photoshop.
Why should you or anybody use GIMP?

1. GIMP is open source and 100% FREE!
This is one of the strongest advantage of GIMP. It is a totally free software for hobby and professional use. You don't have to pay for a license at all and by extension you don't need to used cracked adobe softwares.
